The inside roll is a soccer move you do to beat a defender. When you are dribbling the ball forward, use the bottom of your foot to roll the ball to one side, then use the inside of your other foot to touch the ball forward.

A great soccer drill you can do to work on this move is to set up a cone, dribble the ball towards it, and when you get to the cone, do an inside roll around it.
