Today we’re going to work on our field and ball awareness.

Daily Drill 12/28/12

5 minutes of Throw/Look/Trap – Throw the ball in the air, look both directions, then trap the ball with your feet (alternate left and right). Try to trap the ball so that it rolls 2-3 steps from you so you can run onto it

5 minutes of Punt/Rolls – Punt the ball in the air, roll on the ground, then find and trap the ball within one or two bounces. Try not to let the ball bounce more than once.

1 lap around the field while dribbling – Alternate 2 touches with each foot. Practice keeping your head up and looking around instead of looking at the ball.
