I’ve talked about this before, but I’m going to go there again.

I constantly get asked how to become a better dribbler. I get the question all the time – what’s the best soccer drill? I’ve done a video about it – the best soccer drill is the one you’ll actually go out and do. The best drill is the one that will get you out on the field getting touches on the ball – not only during practice, but on off days.

However, I’m going to add to that – the best soccer drill you can do is the one that you’ll do…CONSISTENTLY.

Consistency is key. Consistency creates champions. The players that succeed are the ones that put in the time with a ball every day. Whenever they say they’re going to practice, they do it. They don’t just talk about it.

This is something I talk about in my dribbling ebook – you can have the best drill set in the world, but if you don’t go out there and make a commitment to doing those drills, it doesn’t matter. You have to dedicate yourself.

You need to get out there every day. Get touches on the ball.

The skills that get developed are the ones that get practiced!

So the question that comes out of this is how bad do you want to be successful? How bad do you want to be a great player? How bad do you want to be a great dribbler?

I’m going to challenge you – set aside time every day for the next 30 days to work on your skills. It doesn’t matter if it’s on a practice day or on an off day – every day, spend 15 minutes training. 15 minutes – if you have practice, do this afterwords. Soccer practice with your team is where you develop your team skills. You want to develop your individual skills, do it on your own time. Stick around for 15 minutes after practice and do some individual drills.

It’s not easy. You’ll be tired. Life will try to distract you. However, if you’re really dedicated to this, you’ll make it happen. Remember, every time you struggle to get out there to practice and do it, your competition isn’t.

This is where you beat them. This is where you become a champion!
