Have you started training yet? If you have, you know that it’s not easy. Training of any sort is a difficult, painful process. You’re breaking through barriers that you’ve sometimes struggled with you entire life. Because of the difficulty of this process, your first instinct is almost always the same.

STOP.

Your body screams it. “I’m uncomfortable,” it says. “It hurts!” And it’s right. You are uncomfortable. You are forcing yourself to do something you haven’t done before. The logical thing to do would be to stop the pain and quit…

IF.

It would be logical to stop training IF the pain and suffering were the whole story. However, the pain isn’t the whole story. The true wonder of your training story is what comes AFTER the pain. You are training for a reason – you want to get better at something. You want to achieve a level of greatness at something that you never could have achieved before.

However, to get there, you must break through the pain roadblock your body puts up. You have to remember, it’s not about how hard the training is. It’s about the reward, bought with the currency of pain. Your body doesn’t know this, but every time you work, every time you practice, every time you push yourself further than you think you can go, you’re making another deposit in the bank, and when you’re done, you’re going to cash in on a reward that makes the struggle pale in comparison.

But ONLY if you don’t quit.

Don’t Quit
You’re Already In Pain
Get a Reward From It
