Since soccer is such a team sport, sometimes it’s difficult to work on some of the skills necessary to make yourself a complete player. For example, a lot of the time, it is difficult to work on passing a soccer ball without a friend or teammate to pass the ball with. This is an individual soccer passing drill that gives you the ability to work on your passing by yourself.

Specifically, this drill help you develop a lot of the same passing skills that are utilized by teams like FC Barcelona and Real Madrid in the Spanish La Liga. Barcelona plays a style called Tiki-Taka, which is basically a series of very quick one touch passes that, when done correctly, is almost impossible to defend. This drill will help you develop the ability to make quick passes like some of the greatest soccer players in the world, namely Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

To do wall passes, all you need is a ball and a wall. Simply play the ball against the wall over and over again. There are many variations you can do, including one foot one touch, one foot with a trap, alternating feet one touch, alternating feet with a trap, two touches per foot, etc. In order to really learn passing skills like Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo, make sure you work with both feet, not just one.

Some of the things you should work on with this drill are

– Keeping the ball on the ground when you make a pass
– Making solid contact with the ball so you can pass with power
– Using both feet

This drill will really help you work not only on your soccer passing skills, but also your trapping and ball control as well.
